libcdd-tools software package provides Programs using libcdd, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libcdd-tools
libcdd-tools is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libcdd-tools package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libcdd-tools *
You will get with libcdd-tools package name, version, architecture and description in a table
